What is “wabi sabi”, you might be wondering? Well, it’s a concept often embraced in Japanese art that is centered around the idea that there is beauty in imperfection. It is derived from the Buddhist teaching of the three marks of existence: impermanence, suffering, and selfless-ness. In the White Lotus studio, we always strive to embrace our wabi wabi - in whatever form it may come.
