Try-It Workshop: February 1st

Class Description

We know you've been waiting! Now is your chance to FINALLY get behind the wheel and make some pottery! This is a 2-hour lesson for adults (18 and over) looking to get their hands on some mud. It's the perfect way to get started or just have some fun trying something new. We begin the session with a demonstration. Following that, participant will receive step-by-step instructions to make their own pot on the wheel. After finishing the form, a glaze color can be selected in which the instructor will finish and fire the piece. Glazing and firing pieces is optional and there is an additional $15 firing fee for those who chose to keep their pot. It typically takes a month for any piece to be completely finished and ready for pick-up. No prior pottery skills are required to sign up for the class. We recommend that you come in clothes you don't mind getting messy, wear long hair tied back, trim your fingernails, and bring a dish towel (optional) to wipe your hands while you work.
